Richmond Restaurant BizCard 4

Haven't tried this one. It has no vacant room when we get there. Anyway, it shouldn't be too bad, otherwise, there won't be so many persons.

May check it next time.

Los Angeles Restaurant BizCard 1

Recommended by a friend in LA.

It's a typical taiwan style resturant although it claims to offer Chongqing cuisine.
The food is not bad at all in NA standard. Some sort of reformed Chongqing food.

Pros: clean environment, nice side dishes
Cons: service is not good, urge us to check out

We were so hungry when we got there all the way from San Diego at about 9pm.

The card is bit ugly.

Los Angeles Teahouse BizCard 1

A small but crowded (even 1:00am) teahouse in San Gaibrial (little taipei).
It seems like a hot place for youth gathering.

Hard to image that this one has many franchises in Califolia.

Hangzhou Teahouse Bizcard 1

A well-known teahouse in Hangzhou, where I spend four years for my university study.

This kind of teahouse is quite popular in Hangzhou around 1990s. I don't know about now. This one is pricy. But the service is pretty good. The owner of the teahouse will talk with you and tell you how to enjoy the tea. She also claimed that she made most of the teapot herself and she was hosting a TV program about tea Tao in local TV channel (I don't know).

Anyway, it's not a bad experience to enjoy good tea, nice environment and side dish.

Recommend for tourist to Hangzhou.

France Restaurant BizCard 1

A small Chinese restaurant in Nice, a small and cozy city at the south of France, full of tourist. The city lays between Cannes and Monaco.

I visited Nice in 1999.

Richmond Restaurant BizCard 3

Visited couple of times.
Last visit was Jan. 2006.

Hightlights:: 24 hours, nice place
Pros:: 24 hours, fair price
Cons:: Not many choice, most of them are rice and noodle

Richmond Restaurant BizCard 2

Visited twice in 2002.
Not sure about the current status.
Buffet of Hotpot.

Pros:: fast service, good shrimp and oyster.
Cons:: a bit pricy compare to other buffet.

Visited once in Dec. 2005 for the celebration of new year, close to my company.

Highlights:: traditional Japanese food, Japanese waiter/waitress
Pros:: authentic Japanese food, fair price

Vancouver Restaurant BizCard 1

Visited a lot of times. Recommended by a HK tour guide.
The most recent visit is this January 2006.
I love the roasted pigeon there.
Must reserve seats and the pigeon.

Highlights:: roasted pigeon, mango pudding, hand-sliced chicken, BBQ duck
Pros:: very good food, fair price
Cons:: limited parking space, crowded place.

I collect business cards of restaurants

It's a kind of trivial collection. Anyway, since I've already collected some business cards of restaurants in Europe, China, and North America, why not find a place to display and organize them.

A collection of business cards for Restaurants. It's one of my hobbies to collect the business cards of restaurants. So, I can find my way again to a good restaurant next time.

As the only kid in my family, I was born in Chongqing, the fourth municipality in P.R.China. Chongqing is known for three special traits. It is a mountain city, a foggy city comparable to London, and one of the three "hot stoves" of China in Summer time. At 18, I left my hometown and went to Hangzhou for my university life. I had been studying CS in a top university in China, Zhejiang Univeristy, for four years in the most beautiful city of China - Hangzhou. There is an old saying, "Upper is heaven, lower is Suzhou and Hangzhou". After graduation, I worked in a JV company of Siemens for three years in Shanghai before I immigrate to Canada at the end of 2000. Got my master degree in SFU, I am now working as a software engineer in Broadcom Canada. I enjoyed my work as an embedded system engineer. In my spare time, I like reading, music , traveling, photography, badminton, and running.
